Do not describe uncertain training or health as confirmed. Ask the organization how to provide sensitive information.
Consider private rehoming when you can continue care
If there is time to discuss a placement with another household, an owner or authorized helper can create a free Golden Paw Match listing. The site's main purpose is helping senior people and families find suitable senior adopters for dogs of any age. A listing is not shelter intake: you remain responsible for arranging the dog's current care.
Keep everyone informed
